I am excited and hornored to have had the pleasure of using Mr. Richard Pope as my "Buyer's Agent" for my recent home purchase in the Tyler, TX area. He will absolutely leave "no stone unturned" in taking care of your business. Between all the calls, faxes and e-mails from him during the purchase experience, he made me feel as if I were his only customer. That though, was not the case. I would call him on his cell phone and he would answer even though he was with another customer while showing property. He would quickly explain what he was doing and make sure to call me back just as soon as was conveniently possible. He is just so driven to help that you feel that he is giving you all the special attention that you hope you would get, but 99% of the time you know you can't get. In summary, let me close by saying that Mr. Pope is the "ultimate, consumate" Buyer's Agent professional. We have used Richard Pope on three occasions. We bought a home in August of 1995, sold it in August of 1998 and are currently purchasing another home. The fact we used Richard on three occasions stands as a testimony of Richard's ability, dedication and commitment.
We would like to tell you more about our realtor, friend, and brother in Christ, Richard Pope. We first met in June of 1995. while looking for a home. During our first meeting, we informed him of our distrust of realtors. Our attitude was a result of dealings with other realtors in other cities. The main concern of realtors was that of making a sale, whether or not it was in our best interest. They would not volunteer any information regarding the condition of the home or be honest with regard to the price of the home. They would only appease us and tickle our ears just to make the sale so they could make their commission.

- Oct. 12th my husband's employer offered us the opportunity to transfer to Tyler, Texas.
- I subscribed to the local newspaper.
- Nov. 15th we arrived in Tyler & met Richard. He spent a couple of days showing us the area & about two dozen available properties.
- Dec. 7th we accepted an offer on our Wisconsin home.
- Dec. 21st we closed on the Wisconsin transaction.
- Dec. 24th arrived in Tyler (at the end of an ice storm), & checked into a local hotel.
- Dec. 28th started seriously working with Richard.
- Jan. 20th we closed & took possession of our Tyler home.
All was not as smooth as this schedule appears. This home was actually our second choice. An additional month or so in a motel did not appeal to us or our Golden Lab.
Richard walked us through the inspections, Texas real estate laws, utility arrangements, closing procedures & even recommended a local appliance dealer & service companies. We felt he was more than a real estate agent, Richard was truly our "Buyers Agent". The information he candidly shared with us about our new hometown has proven accurate & helpful. Best of all, the service did not stop on closing. A couple of weeks later & a few months later, when I had questions, Richard continued to be a tremendous resource.
